Greetings, all! I'm James, the owner and lead designer of Lost Heretic Press, a small independent publisher of adventures and supplements for old-school style games. I have been running and playing tabletop games for over 20 years, most recently delving into NSR and OSR style games like Shadowdark RPG and Mork Borg. I specialize in grimdark, horrific games feature dark, fantastical elements that focus on the actions of the characters and the response of the world around them. How James runs games

Hello! I'm James of Lost Heretic Press! I write and publish games for rules light OSR systems, and the games that I run tend to follow the same track. My games are open ended and player driven, with a strong focus on creative problem solving in the vein of the Old School Renaissance. I personally like to consider myself partway between the OSR and the NSR when it comes to gaming mentality, with a eye towards emergent narrative and fun. I've moved entirely away from the 5e/5.5e ecosystem, and now I run rules light, attitude heavy games like Mork Borg and Shadowdark RPG. My commitment is to creating a fun, inclusive, and safe playing experience where everyone is welcome. Just don't forget your torch and your standard issue 10' pole!
