About Allocated
I have been GMing for a few years and absolutely love the game, from all sides. I enjoy helping new players learn the game and making sure they still have fun and don't feel too pressured by the ticking clock. I enjoy having longtime players at my table who question me on the realities of the world they're in. I love getting feedback from my players on how to improve their experience. I prefer to play in an open-world style. When I start a table, I have created a huge, persistently generated universe ripe for exploration, reformation, terraformation, whatever you desire. Can't wait to build a story with you x)

How Allocated runs games
I roleplay hard and encourage players to take their time and figure out what will be most fun. I do character voices, I visually act (if we're doing cam-on). I run an open-world sandbox that contains millions of NPCs, each with their own life, story, voice and goals. I've based my style a bit on Fable, a bit on Spore, a bit on Kenshi. I'm ecstatic Bastions came back to D&D official content, as I always gave my players a 'home base' with facilities and upgrades available. I like to work out a Heritage Item (a magical item that grows in power as you do), I find it helps lean into the character concept more. I also don't see a point in holding to the rules if it is feasible to alter it (ie if a Feat you like has STR bonus but you're a DEX focused character, the Feat now does a DEX bonus). I do enjoy tacticality in combat. I play chess and love to play the board that way. That is certainly how most of your BBEGs will behave, moving pieces towards an eventual goal in a way that's hard to see the point of from the board. It's a fine balance line between a challenging world and a world that feels like the gods have got it out for you. I am very careful to stay on the side of 'challenging but fun'.
