About Lara
I'm a DM of 15 years on and off, currently running 2 games a week that have been ongoing for more than a year, looking to run more games professionally. Many of my interests and passion projects play into the strengths I bring to the table as a DM, such as working towards being a voice actress, a writer, a standup comic and an artist. All of these skills are ones I will be making use of in different ways within any game I run to more or lesser degrees. This includes drawing your characters at no additional charge in my art style. Personally, I am a 30 year old trans woman, I am a lesbian, I am neurodivergent, I am disabled, I am a socialist, and I am an immigrant, and if you fall into any of those categories too I want you to know you are in the safe hands of a sister in our fights. Stay strong. I speak a small amount of French, Russian and German, though am not fluent, but will try my utmost to help people with language barriers. I have also been trying to learn a little ASL to aid in events where needed for some, but it is very basic currently. I make use of consent forms so that games can be tailored to my players best, and to avoid any potential triggers. I run very open and communicative tables and will always have a traffic light system in play for anyone to use when uncomfortable for any reason.

How Lara runs games
I run roleplay heavy games, with combat being more about a way to tell a story moment or a climax for one, and will often try to mix in different elements to a fight, such as puzzle elements to do at the same time. I run plenty of mystery elements, including clues that I will give as handouts and lots of clues hidden within the ongoings of the game itself for those vigilant in both eye and ear. I do also have some more combat heavy campaigns options for those that wish for it, so do look at my different offerings of campaigns for one that best fits your wants. Every player character will have a uniquely crafted storyline that they will have control over through their actions and inaction, based heavily upon what backstory you are willing to give me. The more you put in, the more you will get out. I will be keenly learning what themes and genres you enjoy before we start any game, so I can best blend those thoughts into your personal quest line. I offer unique voices for all major NPCs, unique artwork I draw myself for NPCs and each player character (though this may take a week or two to get through all of them, but progress pics will be sent) and audio visual references and clues I make myself. There will NEVER be any ai used in my games, nor will I allow it at my table. I will strive to make a positive and loving environment at my table, even if the campaign itself may dip into darker elements here and there. Triggers will ALWAYS be respected and boundaries enforced.

Lara's ideal table
People who love RP and see combat as more of a cherry on top of as a way of advancing plot rather than being the central facet of a game. Vibe wise I want people that enjoy the serious nature of role-playing but like the moments of levity too, but who knows when restraint is needed on both, to give others their turn with the spotlight
