About Kiera
Hi! I'm Kiera, and I've been roleplaying in one form or another since I was about 13. I've always had a passion for worldbuiling, voice acting, writing and storytelling, so GMing came as a natural fit to me. I believe games should be accessible, engaging and more importantly, fun(!!!) for all involved. Being able to provide that space for others is something I'm super passionate about.

How Kiera runs games
I pride myself on giving settings and topics the attention they deserve while not taking myself too seriously. I like a healthy dose of combat where it's appropriate, but I'm also in my element getting heavy into interpersonal relationships between players and NPCs. I'm a big proponent of being a facilitator as much as a storyteller, I want you to be able to immerse yourself in the world and tell your own story as much as experience whatever I've cooked up. As such, I love to go in deep on the roleplay, even when we're in the midst of combat. Story doesn't stop when the combat starts, conflict is what drives stories after all! Consent and safety tools are a must and I like to do regular check ins with my players in and out of game. I want to make sure players know what they can expect before they join my table, what they enjoy and what they'd like to see more/less of. I thrive on feedback!

Kiera's ideal table
My tables tend to be laid back and friendly, with a strong focus on roleplay between PCs and NPCs. You will fit well at my table if you have a willingness to get involved and learn as you play, there is no expectation to know all the rules before you play. I enjoy teaching others and having members of the table support one another as we play.

I think metagaming...
has its place! There are times when you want to talk above the table about what your character might be about to do, that wouldn't easily translate into roleplaying it out, especially in the midst of combat.
My perfect party mix is
a healthy mix of different playstyles. I love having storytellers, explorers and warriors at my table all gelling together to create a variety of gameplay.
