About me

Hi! I'm Kiera, and I've been roleplaying in one form or another since I was about 13. I've always had a passion for worldbuiling, voice acting, writing and storytelling, so GMing came as a natural fit to me. I believe games should be accessible, engaging and more importantly, fun(!!!) for all involved. Being able to provide that space for others is something I'm super passionate about.

GM Style

I pride myself on giving settings and topics the attention they deserve while not taking myself too seriously. I like a healthy dose of combat where it's appropriate, but I'm also in my element getting heavy into interpersonal relationships between players and NPCs. I'm a big proponent of being a facilitator as much as a storyteller, I want you to be able to immerse yourself in the world and tell your own story as much as experience whatever I've cooked up. As such, I love to go in deep on the roleplay, even when we're in the midst of combat. Story doesn't stop when the combat starts, conflict is what drives stories after all! Consent and safety tools are a must and I like to do regular check ins with my players in and out of game. I want to make sure players know what they can expect before they join my table, what they enjoy and what they'd like to see more/less of. I thrive on feedback!

Any GM review always boils down to am I having fun and Kiera nails it. The work, planning, and running is professional level and am always in awe. The combat is challenging, the story is riveting, the group Kiera built is great, the personal attention to each character is awesome, and the time is fun.

Keira is one of my favorite DM's in my 10 years of playing TTRPG's. She is great at storytelling, voices, creating the story, allowing you to do so many crazy things, great with beginners and creates a safe space for everyone. That's to not even get into the work she puts into visuals and music to really set the scenes. I can highly recommend her and hope to be playing many more games in the future with her.

Kiera is really everything you could ask for in a GM. Voices, NPCs, personalities, atmospheres, effort, attention, patience, flexibility, maps, combat encounters, interesting and unique situations etc. I could continue the list indefinitely. I've been playing TTRPGs for years and Kiera's game was the first one where I can confidently say that each character was woven into the story to an impressive degree. It is very unique (and rare, in my opinion) that a GM can give each character (even the ones that just joined the existing crew) their time in the spotlight with it not only not being disruptive of the main story, but enhancing it. Our almost year-long CyberpunkRed campaign felt like it only lasted a few months, mostly because there was almost never a dull moment. So many unique, memorable and impactful characters, event and gigs! This was the kind of campaign that had moments that you tell your other groups about. What else can I tell you to convince you that this is the best kind of GM?

Kiera is a fantastic DM, who includes all of her players in her game on a very personal level. She allows for a wild amount of creativity and makes you feel included and part of the world you play in. She's helped me personally with the introduction to a new system and has been super welcoming and patient with us. Her storytelling and use of different voices and NPC's is unlike anything I've ever experienced before, and I've been playing and DMing games for 10 years. Roleplay is fantastic and combat is challenging and fun. Games with Kiera are session you'll look forward to all week and leave you wanting more. The games are engaging, fun and you'll get emotionally invested. Your actions have consequences and your personal goals are important. Kiera is the ideal DM if you're looking for a game tailored to you.

Kiera is an absolutely fantastic worldbuilder, and really puts her all into creating a unique and exciting background to a campaign. She's excellent at weaving in the specific backgrounds of the PCs I've played with her in the past, and creating a more comedic or serious atmosphere as the situations requires. Her skills at setting a background with music, making NPCs unique with her voice talents, and engaging a party all come together to create a really engaging and vibrant campaign, bringing the world to life rather than just reading from a sourcebook. She is a very flexible DM when it comes to all the mad ideas our parties have come up with through the years, and I'd say she goes beyond allowing for creativity into promoting it to make a more fun game as the situation needs. I've really enjoyed my time with Kiera as a GM across the different rulesets she's used, and would strongly recommend her in whatever game you're looking to play.

I've played in two campaigns with Kiera as DM, and both of them have been wild. She's brought a range of voices and personalities to the world, been really fun to game with and has encouraged people to step out of their shell and engage with the world. The groups have been inclusive and welcoming, with a lot of patience for new players, and room to explore for more experienced members. Her 5e (2014) campaign used a lot of homebrew, with a rich setting, good lore and interesting locales. The plot felt very player-driven, with a lot of room for roleplay and combat. In her Cyberpunk Red campaign, the gigs are run with a lot of versatility in mind, there have been handouts and a focus on developing our crew in the ways that we find interesting. Night City feels like a thriving but dystopian space, our last session dove into the intricacies of one of the local gangs (no spoilers). TLDR: Amazing voices, inclusive DM, excellent knowledge of the systems, very fun to play with. Would highly recommend.
