About me

Come with me to engage your love for adventure, forging friendships and alliances with fun NPCs while battling villains and monsters to prove your mettle and cunning! Ever since being introduced to Narnia as a small child and growing up surrounded by fantasy and sci-fi, I have loved exploring truth and bravery and morality through story! I have been using fantasy and sci-fi settings to explore truth and meaning through collaborative storytelling for over 25 years. During the past 4 years, I have transitioned to using D&D for this passion of storytelling. I especially love creating settings, adventures, and encounters that challenge players in unique ways, giving everyone an opportunity to shine while we explore big themes in fun ways. GM Style

My top priority is giving you an engaging experience by allowing your character the opportunity to be epic. Whether it is in rising above the turmoil of a tenuous social situation, masterminding all of the details of a combat encounter, or manipulating a setting through creative play, I strive to give my players the chance to collaborate and have fun on their terms. Love puzzles? I’ll give you plenty of puzzles, riddles, and obstacles to think creatively! Love social encounters? I’ll give you plenty of freedom for you and your party to engage with my fun NPCs to talk your way out of (or into!) a problem! Love strategy and min/maxing (Don’t feel bad, so do I!)? I’ll give you plenty of challenging encounters where you get to be the hero! In short, I strive to balance the three pillars of Puzzles, Role Play, and Combat in a narratively compelling way. Play focuses on cooperating with your party to creatively and actively shape the world in which your hero lives. I am happy to run anything from a multi-year campaign to a one-shot. I am just as happy helping new players learn as we play or running complex stories and encounters with experienced players. In any game I also endeavor to ensure that boundaries are observed and respected, and I have an open door policy so that every player is free to skip or engage difficult or complex issues as they are comfortable. My games allow for new members and guests at almost any time, with a free Session Zero to create and explore your character for any new long-term character in a campaign, so contact me to get started right away!
