About me
Hi there, My name is Josh or J.R.! I have been playing ttrpgs for a few years now and have GM'd throughout most of them! I love the atmosphere and story telling that ttrpgs bring to everyday life. Always looking to better my skills as a storyteller/GM. I am inclusive and welcome all who are looking to have a some escape from regular life through creativity and community of story telling and ttrpgs
GM Style
I love to get into character and immerse myself and players into the story. I enjoy roleplaying and storytelling, however if that is not your style I don't mind adjusting to a style that fits others and is fun for everyone! If there are things you want to do that progress the story in cool and imaginative ways but aren't within rules I am all for trying to make it work!

JR did a great join as DM for a Stormlight (Cosmere) RPG one-shot. It was my first time playing the beta rule set and he was helpful and patient as I got comfortable with the mechanics.

J.R. was awesome! I played in a game with him running Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere RPG. It was his first time DM'ing it and my first time playing it - the whole group had a blast, and J.R. did a great job guiding us through the story and ensuring everyone had a good time. I would be thrilled to keep playing with him! He did a great job voicing different PCs, which has always been a personal struggle for me as a DM.

J.R run a really fun and entertaining one shot for us in the Stormlight universe. His knowledge about the setting, and the rules (despite the open beta being open for a short time) made our session both fun and a smooth experience. His GMing style is very role play friendly and already in a one shot he set the stage for an epic moment.

DM is an avid reader and world builder, and it shows in his DM style. The way that he describes things makes it feel like you are present in the world, and the world itself feels rich and rewarding.
