About João Pedro L. Goncalves

[20+ years experience, beginner friendly, LGBTQ++ Friendly, Improvisation, roleplay, and fun are my main goals] Hi, my name is João Pedro, but you can call me JP. I'm a Brazilian GM with over 25 years of experience playing and over 20 years of experience as a GM, having started in the 90s with AD&D. I'm also a writer, TTRPG translator, and Narrative Designer for games. I like to bring what I learned working in games for Riot Games and movies and series for Warner Bros Discovery to empower narratives on the gaming table. Fun and a safe space are a must in my games, so don't worry if you don't know all the rules and combos. Playing the system can be fun, but telling a collaborative story is what matters. I have experience with Avatar Legends, 7th Sea (First Edition), D&D 5E, Tales From the Loop, Kids on Bikes/Kids on Brooms, and am eager to bring more games soon. Hope we can have lots of fun and tell interesting stories together!

I'm passionate about roleplay and improvisation, and believe that the story and the overall joy a game can create is greater when you don't feel forced to stick to the rules as written, especially when there are more entertaining paths.
