About Jeremy Olson
I read the Silmarillion when I was 16 and have loved world building ever since. I've only ever tried to run 1 DnD module from a book and that was Curse of Strahd. I changed and added so much that by 3 sessions in it was a completely different campaign involving the backstories and motivations of each of my players, basically set in Barovia. I love building out a good story around my players and have always deeply encouraged roleplay and flexibility with the rules in the interest of fun.

When I'm not running games I'm...
playing with my dog, watching anime, reading manga, playing video games, spending time in my garden or working out at the gym.
How Jeremy Olson runs games
I greatly encourage roleplay, and love creative use of spells and abilities, even if they bend/break the rules a little. I'm very welcoming to new players and tend not to try to kill my players unless I know they're ok with it. I generally like to come up with a basic framework for a campaign, then do a session zero to spur collaborative design, then compile it all into a world built with my players character's in mind. I like to work with each of my players on what abilities/spells/subclasses etc. they want to have as they level up, then weave it into the story so it feels more realistic.

Rules are...
flexible. If you want to do something fun that isn't technically within the rules, please don't hesitate to ask as 9/10 times I'll be supportive of it. A player has never broken one of my games to the point I couldn't repair it enough to continue.
Jeremy Olson's ideal table
My ideal table would be each player staying in character as much as possible during a session, and clearly identifying if they want to pause to ask a questions or say something out of character. That being said, I'm by no means a stickler for it, but that's definitely my preference when running a table.

I love it when a player
tries to stay in character as much as possible, and uses spells/abilities creatively (within reason) regardless of what the rules say.
