About Jimmy

I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons since middle school and have played 3.5, 4E, and 5E for years each. I've loved introducing people to the wonder and magic of entering a shared mental space and having whacky adventures in each game and others. I like to borrow bits and ideas from all over, rather than sticking strictly to the rules. Similarly, while I enjoy tactical combat, but also appreciate a broader narrative space for improvisation and shared storytelling. Those who enjoy playing things straight by the book and building carefully rules-legal characters with specific niches may be frustrated by my freeform playstyle, but those looking to play a part in creating the gameplay and world, who view the books more as a jumping off point, and like rolling with the silliness and bumps of improvisation should find plenty of fun at my table.
