About Jesse Morgan
Hello! My name is Jesse! I am a married, cat loving man with interests in music making, mixology, video games, and most importantly- tabletop gaming! I have been consuming DnD videos since 2010, where I found Acquisitions Inc. and Critical Role. I have been utterly obsessed since. I started playing in a few games with my band and other friends, but never really found the type of game I was after. So, I decided to start DMing my own! I have been DMing in my homebrew world Crysalias for around 4 years now. I have recently had great success with my two running campaigns, set at the same time on other sides of the world. I have a deep focus on character backstory integration and making a full, breathing world that feels like you could do anything there. I prefer to run games that contribute themselves to the phrase "collaborative storytelling," meaning that your character background, the main story, and the players interactions with each other should all work in harmony to tell a great story together. I do not shy away from emotional, hard moments when they happen; I embrace them, and search for party members that do the same. I hope to add other games and parties to this amazing world that I and my players have crafted together!

How Jesse Morgan runs games
First and foremost, I run on the experience of "collaborative storytelling." although there will be laughs, my intent is not to use DnD or other platforms as a joke-telling medium. I prefer to run games where your character, their backstory, and their actions feels important. I want to get into the nitty gritty of the story we tell together. Combat-wise, I subscribe to the thought that combat should mean something. I don't like to just throw random encounters at my players; I purposefully give you foes that make you feel something, whether that be danger, emotion, or story development.
