About Jayce Stock
Hello there! I'm Jayce! I've been running tabletop games as a DM for over 20 years, and spent over a decade working professionally as a game developer in the VG industry as both narrative writer and a specialist in player behavioural psychology. Being multiple flavors of queer and neurodivergent myself, I am both highly inclusive and sensitive to the specific needs of people within these communities. You are safe with me. So let's have some fun!

How Jayce Stock runs games
Stylistically, I personally prefer a more roleplay-centric style over a strictly dungeon crawling, hack and slash style of game, but am comfortable running either based on player needs. Most campaigns I enjoy running the most are generally balanced as follows: 35% Playful / 65% Serious 40% Soft / 60% Gritty 30% RAW / 70% "Rule of Cool" 35% Hack and Slash/ 65% Roleplay I am a skilled and experienced voice actor, and bring this to bear in creating and performing a wide variety of diverse characters. I'm also a skilled artist, map maker, and level designer, and enjoy using these skills to create rich and engaging in-world experiences. I welcome anyone from any walk of life to join my tables! The more unique and interesting, the better! That said, I do operate under very clear rules: 1. If you're a dick to other players or me, you'll be asked to leave. 2. Related to #1, my table is a safe space. Politics, religion, etc. are not welcome outside of in-game content. Bigotry has no place at my table. If you have to ask if something is unacceptable, the answer is probably yes. 3. Each table negotiates content boundaries with me before first session begins with regards to in-game sexual, violent, substance-related, or discriminatory content. Once negotiated, these rules are hard lines until everyone agrees to renegotiate them. 4. I reserve the right to ask for a player to alter any behaviour that is causing significant distress to other players, even if that behaviour does not expressly break any of the prior 3 rules. Anything else you wanna know? Just ask!
