About me

I want to run your dream game. I've been running games for four decades now, and I still absolutely love doing it. I'm a retired college professor with a PhD in English Literature, and I'm currently working as a corporate trainer, but this seems like a fun thing to do on the side for some extra spending money. I'm also a published author. I wrote a handful of adventure modules and contributed to a few sourcebooks for different games including D&D and 7th Sea, and I've written scholarly works on depictions of the Catholic Inquisition in Gothic Literature and the coming-of-age story in English-speaking countries around the world. What I like most about meeting a new group is finding out what kind of stories they want to tell and helping them tell those tales.

GM Style

I like playing off what my players enjoy. I'm big on "yes, and" with players; you give me an idea, and I'll try to run with it. I'm more focused on role-playing and storytelling as opposed to tactical combat, but that doesn't mean I don't like conflict and challenges.
