About Jade Bamboo
I've been into role playing games since I was a kid. As a player the list includes DnD 3.5, 5e., and a small amount of 1st edition. I have also played D20 modern/future, starwars, pathfinder 1, rifts, and even once a streetfighter TTRPG. I have a background in theater and story telling. I'm not great with voices and accents but I love to improvise. and encourage role playing! My last campaign was an in person all girls 5th edition game.

How Jade Bamboo runs games
My games all take place in homebrew worlds following the 5th edition rule system. I use a backbone of the core rules but also give myself creative freedom to alter aspects as needed for a fun and flexible game style. I strive for a balance between combat and role playing, dungeon crawls and character development. I try to get a feel for my players styles and to incorporate their interests into the game. The way I see it, the more my players put into their characters the more I have to work with and the more personal the story can become. I am a child educator and work well with kids of all ages so I am happy to run a family or kid friendly game upon request. Usually though I like an anything goes kinda game and don't shy away from bad language or adult themes. players should be clear and upfront about any content that would make them uncomfortable so it can be avoided and everyone has fun!
