About J. W. Shaw
I like that J. W. Shaw makes me sound like an author but I hope you all will just call me Jack. I have been playing role playing games off and on for over 15 years and I have been playing and running D&D 5e for the last 4 years. I run modules for the most part but like to put personal spins on things that I feel improve the story for the group. I'm happy to have all at my digital table and believe that everyone should feel comfortable being who they are at it. If you have any concerns, or need any accommodation, please let me know.

How J. W. Shaw runs games
I like to keep a balance between the 3 pillers of TRPGs; Combat, exploration, and roll-play. Character voices are not something I'm great at but I try to give enough personally to each character that I can't remember a time when my players have forgotten who they were talking to. I like to keep my games PG13. There may be some references to mature content but if it ever comes up directly I will 'fade to black' and move on to the next scene, no need to describe everything and make everyone uncomfortable.
