Hail and well met! Over the past 15 years I have played a handful of different TTRPGs, and over the last 5 years I have been running DND 5th edition games for friends, family, and coworkers whenever I can find the time. I enjoy taking character backstories and running adventures, both homebrew and pre-written, that touch on those backstories to bring things to a more personalized place. In my professional life I have management and team leadership experience that give me strong decision making skills in dealing with interpersonal situations. How Adam D. runs games
I try to encourage meaningful roleplay in and out of combat. During combat I like to ask players to describe what their character looks like when they are taking their turn, and I try to keep NPC turns as quick and efficient as possible in an effort to keep things moving. During social encounters with NPCs I get in character and try to stay in character as best I can. (I am no voice actor, but that doesn't stop me from trying ^__^)
