I am a long-time DnD/TTRPG player who has hosted and run games for hundreds of sessions streaming online after many years as a DM at tables locally. GM style

I am a world builder who believes in pace, with short story arcs but sprinkled with threads that tie into a much larger macro storyline. I love to create an environment where players can develop their characters personal heroes journey. I use battle as an story accent versus a tactical slog. I prefer battles to be fast paced, and look to find the fine line between easy and deadly. I have a full command of the challenge system and know when to vary tactics to make everyone feel challenged but not railroaded. As far as worldbuilding, I start with NPC's who are anchored in some overriding motivation (could be an emotion, a goal or a force of nature) and let them be the embodiment of that theme. The players drive the stories in my campaigns and I tailor the challenges and the story prompts week to week solely based on the direction the players wish to go. I am a firm believer in party dynamics and chemistry as the most important part of TTRPG's. Rules serve as a mechanism to resolve conflict and are a distant second to party dynamics.
