Greetings Adventurers! Are you looking for your queer, D&D safe space where we play dress up and roleplay together? Look no further! I have been playing D&D (dungeons and dragons) since the mid-90s! I specialize in D&D5e but I started with AD&D (2nd Edition) and have played every edition since. I am an actor, reader, cinephile and PC gamer, I have also been something of an Adventurer in real life (actual pirate, vagabond, woodsman, navy sailor), and draw on all of these experiences for my games. Now, after my adventures, I am settling down and building a homestead with my lovely spouse, where we plan to host D&D camping retreats (weeks, weekends). So not only is being a professional DM a dream come true, but it will help me to support my spouse and our... dog, 2 cats, 2 chickens, 3 goats, 6 rabbits and really bring our homestead to life. When I find out what makes you shine, we'll lean into it! But in general I run "reactive sandboxes" based on the player characters. Players can follow world events or ignore them and pursue personal goals while the world continues on its own, but as player power grows, their actions are more likely to bring world events to them! This includes Session 0/on-boarding, respecting Lines & Veils (content boundaries), and encouraging questions. -TEACHING EXPERIENCE: I have taught people of all ages how to traditional sailor skills and how to sail. Including communication, teamwork, tasks requiring large groups and fine handiwork. I teach new and complicated board games to my friends on a regular basis (more complicated than D&D for sure). -CHARACTER CREATION HELP: I plan on most of character creation happening at session 0, but happy to coordinate with anyone that wants more guidance. -PREGENERATED CHARACTERS: I have pre-gen characters of every class all the way up to level 10 available for use. -CHEAT SHEETS: I have cheat sheets available for combat, and can break down any part of the game that needs more explanation.
