About me
Hey, and welcome to the adventure! I’m Chewie – a lifelong gamer, nerd, and a passionate tabletop RPG enthusiast with over 10 years of experience in the world of TTRPGs. I’ve had the privilege of running everything from home campaigns and local brewery night one-shots to online adventures with friends. I got my start in D&D 5e and expanded into Pathfinder 2e a few years ago, and I absolutely love the depth and versatility that Pathfinder brings to the table. A little bit about me outside of the game: I’m a 35-year-old gamer with a love for gardening, which I pursue semi-professionally. I’ve spent years working in the service industry, both front and back of house, which has taught me how to think on my feet, keep things running smoothly, and create a positive atmosphere – all skills that come in handy at the game table! I truly believe that tabletop RPGs are not only a fantastic way to escape into new worlds but also a great way to relax, decompress, and share some laughs. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, I’m here to ensure we have a fun and memorable time together. In our campaigns, we’ll be using Foundry VTT to bring the world to life. Foundry offers a powerful platform that enhances our gaming experience with QOL and automation modules that streamline gameplay, so you can focus on the adventure rather than the rules. I use professional maps to make sure every encounter is visually immersive and engaging, and I also incorporate ambient sound and music to set the tone and keep you immersed in the world. Whether we're battling monsters, exploring ancient ruins, or simply roleplaying around the campfire, you can expect a rich and dynamic experience, all thanks to the tools Foundry brings to the table!
GM Style
I believe we all sit down to have fun, and that is what I strive to deliver. Whether that is a roleplay-heavy story with less emphasis on combat, or a strict dungeon delve, whatever the group enjoys, is what we can strive for! I do believe the rules are there for a reason, but there is no reason to bog down a session to dissect minutia, we can look it up later. In the moment, what feels good to the group and lives within the rules of the world?
