About me

I've been playing different TTRPGs since I was 17 in 2011, where I first learned Pathfinder. Since then, I've learned Dungeons & Dragons 4e, 5e, Call of Cthulhu, and D20 Modern, but my passion is for 5e because of its versatility and progressivity.

GM Style

I am an avid homebrewer in terms of world building, creatures, NPCs, and other flavor-related aspects of the game, but by-and-large, I don't mess with rules. I tend to employ a combination of preparation and improvisation in my games, where I will flesh out an area of the map, create several open plot hooks, and generate encounter tables ahead of time, which allows my players to explore freely and gives me the opportunity to make fluid decisions about the game as the players engage with the world. The campaigns that I write are somewhat serious with a slight emphasis on role-play over combat, but by no means do I run sessions without a little action! At the "table", I try to keep the atmosphere light-hearted and fun. I like to play with people who are there to have fun and enjoy the game, and aren't too hung up on min-maxing or rules lawyering. My games aren't meant to be "won", they're meant to be explored!
