About Billyfrog
Hello and welcome! I’m Billyfrog, and I run tabletop roleplaying games built around community, tactical depth, and shared storytelling. For me, GMing is much more than monster and rules, it’s about creating a warm, stress-free space where players can unplug, connect with awesome people, and feel empowered to try incredible things. Whether we’re rolling dice virtually or with physical dice at home, my goal is always the same: to deliver a welcoming, accessible environment where everyone gets their moment in the spotlight. Outside of GMing, I love cultivating plants, caring for my pets, and playing modern Board Games. If you’re looking for a campaign that balances deep mechanical choices with a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere, you’ve found the right table!

I ran my first game...
I like to say I ran my first game when I was 11. I discovered HeroQuest and asked for it for my birthday. I was the DM and ran that game every chance I got for anyone who would play it with me. Admittedly, there were times when I was both the GM and the players. This is where it all started.
I started running games because...
...of Board Games. I was playing Pathfinder 1e with a group 10 years ago that turned out to be more of a Modern Board Game group than a TTRPG group, and I fell in love. I started gathering friends and hosting game days and teaching games. Then a new friend asked me to GM Pathfinder2e. Now I'm here!
My favorite system of all Time is
Pathfinder 2e. Starfinder 2e is great too, but it has pretty new and has limited classes. I love the action economy and puzzliness of the system. I love the decision space that Paizo creates in their 2e systems.
How Billyfrog runs games
I view TTRPG rules as an empowering toolkit rather than a restrictive set of boundaries. In our games, the 3-action economy is a fun action puzzle, and my job is to use the mechanics to help you figure out HOW to pull it off. Here is what you can expect at my table: • Rules-as-Intended (RAI) Focus: While we stay close to official rules for consistency and stability, logic, creative intent, and narrative sense will always win over pedantic rule interpretations. • Low-Stress Tech Environment: Don’t worry about mastering software or spending hours learning a complex sheet. If you ever feel overwhelmed by Foundry VTT or Pathbuilder, you can tell me what you want your character to do, and I will gladly help you. • Smooth Pacing: Routine actions with clear outcomes are narrated so we can keep the campaign moving and spend our game time on meaningful choices. • Open Roleplay Energy: I love when players bring character voices, accents, and deep roleplay to the table, but there is zero pressure to perform. I'm not heavy on roleplay, but if you bring it, I’ll do my best to roleplay right back.

I deal with rules issues by...
Rules should empower your creativity, not stop it. I stay close to RAW with a "Rules-As-Intended" mindset to keep consistency while moving games forward. I like to use mechanics to make creative player ideas come to life, not to limit them. I try to be logical and see rules as a puzzle.
I once ran a session...
... in a hospital. I built a bedside portable setup for a friend who was very ill. We spent 6 hours laughing, rolling dice, and running a full session. Nurses came to watch. It was the most fun I've ever had visiting someone in the hospital, and it sold me on what gaming can do for mental health.
My games focus on...
... inclusivity, cooperative non-PvP play, and creative problem-solving. Everyone is welcome at my table! Whether you're a veteran or brand-new to tech, I keep things low-stress so everyone can shine. Let's respect each other and tell great stories together.
Billyfrog's ideal table
My ideal table is built on mutual respect, supportive teamwork, and a shared passion for telling great stories together. I run games for players who want to collaborate, uplift one another, and celebrate each other's successes. Who thrives at my table: • Team Players: Adventurers who put the party first, look for creative ways to aid their allies, and enjoy working together to solve tactical puzzles. • Players of All Experience Levels: Whether you’ve been playing TTRPGs for a decade or this is your very first session, you will find a patient, helpful environment ready to teach you at your own pace. • Inclusive & Respectful Minds: Gamers who value a safe, non-judgmental space where everyone’s voice is heard and respected. • Creative Thinkers: Players who love engaging with the world, thinking outside the box during combat, and having fun with character choices.

I am for a vibe that's...
... warm, welcoming, and relaxed. It’s a low-stress table where creativity is rewarded, rules empower your actions, and roleplay is encouraged without any pressure. We take regular breaks, support each other’s ideas, and focus on having a great time building an exciting story as a team.
I think it's a red flag when players...
... engage in PvP, secret party betrayal, or talk over others at the table. TTRPGs are a team effort, so I look for players who uplift their party members, respect everyone's time, and value a safe, inclusive space.
I think min/maxing...
... is totally fine! I love the tactical depth of PF2e and enjoy seeing strong, effective builds. As long as your character works well with the team and stays cooperative, bring whatever mechanics make you excited to play.
