Hello! I'm Arthur, I started playing DnD 3.5 when I was 15, 12 years ago, and have been constantly DMming multiple settings on multiple systems for at least 8. I'm a member of Salve Minha Mesa! (SMM!), a brazilian startup with multiple gamemasters with multiple specializations, focused on giving players the best experience possible, fine tuned to their taste. I believe RPGs are a collective writing process, a method to create collective personal stories therefore my games are very player focused, expect more sandbox adventures, less railroading and a preference for player freedom and unexpected turns. How Arthur runs games
Mostly homebrew settings, sometimes a collaborative written work with published authors, I tend to balance combat and roleplay with a slight bias to roleplay, always prioritizing the flow of the game over rules. I give more opportunity and encouragement to thinking out of the box, coming up with innovative solutions and trying to make something fresh and unexpected, I embrace unexpected turns and usually let the players develop the story with minimal railroading. However, i'm very adaptable and I am also open to fine tune the campaign to what the players want, introducing more combat, harder fights, more social elements, more grimdark themes or more laid back interactions. I enjoy having a pinch of wacky points and ideas in my adventures.
