Character voices are a constant, expect tactical combat as well. The big thing that i enjoy, and try to bring highlight in my games, is meaningful conflict (not necessarily a violent one) and the weight of player actions through some good old exposition. After all, it Isn't every day that a party realizes the importance of a silent monk guarding an ancient temple with the help of a good old fashioned bog golem.
