About James Streissand
Hey there! I'm an author, artist, and game designer who's been running West Marches style games for about 5 years. I joined SPG to try running the modules I never got to include in my other campaigns, and meet new people! My schedule recently freed up, letting me dedicate far more time to make more maps, run more games, and overall improve my craft. Being an artist allows me to make new maps and assets quickly, and my technical knowledge of foundry makes running games a breeze. I look forward to playing with y'all!

How James Streissand runs games
When I first started as a GM, I cut my teeth on designing tactical combats for players to enjoy. While I still deploy those tactical combats whenever players draw swords, I've put a focus on helping players to explore, roleplay, and solve problems through non-combat means (if they wish). I'm a huge fan of random effects to help spice up the game in the party's favor, and you can expect to see custom magic items make a regular appearance. Finally, I love loot! I think rewards should be a staple of almost every session, and try to give players maximum opportunity to use it as they see fit. I'll see you in a game soon!
