About me

Ever since I was young, I have always been fascinated with storytelling. Imagining myself in fantastic worlds and having grand adventures. Whether it was with other kids or on my own. It would eventually lead to passion for writing and world-building throughout my time in school. Regrettably, once I finished high school, I drifted away from writing stories. Fast forward a few years, I got into board gaming pretty hard, hanging out at my local hobby shop every other Saturday. It was there that I was introduced to TTRPGs. Not oblivious to the hobby due to various pop culture media, I decided on a whim to give it a shot and join a game of Pathfinder. I was amazed at the creative freedom it gave me and what I was able to do in-game. From there I was hooked. Funny enough, though, most of my TTRPG journey didn't continue with Pathfinder, but working on a friend's makeshift RPG (based on Elder Scrolls: Oblivion). Did that for few years, before eventually transitioning into D&D 5th Edition. It was the first TTRPG that I was able to dig my teeth into, as well as reignite my passion for writing and worldbuilding. That was when I decided to start DMing, and I haven't looked back since. I've been running games ever since.

GM Style

The best way to describe my GM style is that I like to have a structured story in which my players can do what they want. That means interjecting elements or even whole parts of their characters' backstory into the campaign and bringing life to the NPCs they meet along the way, all the while creating an immersive world for my players to interact with. I also do my best to make combat thrilling and dynamic, as well as creating puzzles that are fun, not frustrating. Most importantly, I make sure my players have a safe environment to be themselves.
