About Allen

Hi! My name is Allen and I am a veteran gamer with 18 years of experience running games in a variety of different systems old and new. I love exploring new game systems and seeing how different designers handle different mechanics. I am comfortable running pre-written content from modules, adventures, and living campaign systems as well as custom content specifically for your game. The information and story the he provides is detailed and capable of adapting to the usual player antics of wandering from the plot. It is still a creative environment and he is ready to fill anyone in on any details they need to know, be it a new player or veteran.

How Allen runs games

I love to mix and match game mechanics from various systems where appropriate to create interesting new experiences for players. I also enjoy getting into character for NPCs and encourage my players to do the same. Expect about equal parts roleplay, puzzles and exploration, and combat (balance of these may vary depending on the system). Above all, I love to share new systems to players that haven't experienced them before, be they obscure games from the past or indie games hot off the press.
