About Pyro
Upon my discovery of the monster manual in a game shop as a young teen, my fate as a TTRPG fanatic was sealed. Ever since, I've DM'd for friends and strangers both IRL and online. It's a neverending journey, exploring the best of human creativity and improving at the craft every time I run/play.

When I'm not running games I'm...
planning games or playing games. I also do solo game development in my free time and occasionally put my mind to learning new skills, like piano.
How Pyro runs games
Experienced GM of many years looking to take their passion to the next level. I aim to create stories that allow the players creativity to flourish, providing opportunities to create the story you want to play. I love making intricate combat encounters and complex boss monsters, as well as bringing a world to life around the players. - Enjoy high-agency stories, where you drive the narrative where you want to go. - Character decisions will influence their growth and development both narratively and mechanically. - Push systems to their limit, guaranteeing unique encounters you could never have imagined.

I deal with rules issues by...
making a hard and fast ruling to keep the pacing of the game, then opening the issue to discussion later on.
My favorite trope is...
characters developing a found family within the party.
Rules are...
important guidelines that set the baseline of a system. Of course, a game should be more than just whats in the rules.
Pyro's ideal table
My table vibe can vary quite wildly, but generally speaking they consist of a blend between intense combat, character driven role-play and a welcome dosage of humor. I like to give the players the kind of game they want to play, so if you want a challenge, expect bigger, tougher and more complex fights as you go on. Wanna try building up a cult? Sure! let's see where this goes. Drop everything and buy an airship? Eyes on the skies, my friend!

I love it when a player
asks questions! The best developments to my worlds have come when the players push against its edges and demand answers for questions I had never considered before.
I think min/maxing...
is a team effort. Any party composition and power level can be compensated for, however an unbalance within the party itself can lead to some players feeling like they aren't useful or are otherwise falling behind. It's best to coordinate the general power level of any given party before a campaign.
