About Fox Morningstar

If you like mind bending psychological terrors, story driven sessions, horror homebrew content, and a world where all decisions matter and impact the future storyline (in both the best and worst of ways) then I am the DM for you. I began designing in-depth worlds when I was small, drawing out massive maps and begging my friends to join in with me. I've been playing TTRPG & RPG for over 13 years, so I was instantly obsessed with D&D and played in 6 simultaneous campaigns when I first started!!! That was 6 years ago, now I’m currently the GM for 4 active weekly in person campaigns at High Rollers Board Game Cafe, which I co-own with my mother, who has been a writer for 35 years. I am also in the development of 2 games and 1 book, my whole family is very creative. My campaigns are designed to delight and disturb, featuring eldritch elements and cosmic atrocities. If you want to test your constitution, join my table and come roll the odds. ~Fox

When I'm not running games I'm...

Running my board game cafe in Guatemala, fire spinning, flow arts, traveling the world and building events! I would like to say that the assumptions I never rest are a lie....but they are not hehehe

How Fox Morningstar runs games

I’m obsessed with immersive roleplay. My campaigns are both battle & story driven, but heavy role play will always be the brick & mortar of my worlds. I’m always down to customize the game play mechanics to suit the group, that’s why I’m so in love with homebrew and world building around the characters adventures…with the creeping feeling that every minute you let pass, something in the background is growing bolder.

Rules are...

Important but my main goal is fun for the whole party! If there's ever issues we'll work it out as a group, rule of cool is the main rule I play by, and that's not changing anytime soon!

Fox Morningstar's ideal table

As a funky alternative person myself, I love having any and all fellow funky fizzle in my campaigns! Those willing to get into their character maybe a little more then they should are not only welcomed but encouraged, there is no too much when being creative hehehe. Put yourself out there and in my campaigns it will always come back in the form of a full story you've helped to create based on your decisions!
