About me

Decades of DM experience across several games. I focus on player/PC enjoyment and story depth. I encourage character backstories, RP, and teamwork. I love it when a plan comes together.

GM style

I start with the PCs. Every player should love their character and enjoy living with them. I encourage and reward detailed backstories particularly if they tie-in directly to the main story or subplots. I like to get the players and their characters invested in the story early. Next I start with the place and time. I write in every direction because I want the players to go wherever their will takes them without delay or pause. Pester any NPC, examine any room, use your creativity to the fullest and play your character fully. I give my players near-total freedom. Whether running a homebrew, one shot, or one of d&d/paizos pre-written campaigns, I prefer a sandbox playstyle. The story itself will present motivation enough for the players without any direct pushing from the DM.
