Hey, there! I've been playing RPGs since I got a laptop in 10th grade; something just immediately pulled me into them, and I've been in love with the hobby ever since. I started with a homebrew (of a homebrew) of FATE through IRC chat, wound up moving on to 5th Edition when I was sixteen, and progressed from there into other systems like Chronicles of Darkness and Exalted 2e. I've been running games since that first fateful year, with the majority of my experience being in a bar or convention-like setting. These days, I trend towards more old-school style games, with the substance centered around hexcrawling and dungeon exploration, adding in a healthy dose of good, old-fashioned adrenaline for good measure. My tables are welcoming to all people, and they've only one rule: don't be a jerk! If you can abide by that, I look forward to having you in my games.

GM Style

I tend to lean more towards rewarding exploration and innovation rather than purely roleplaying or combat. Experience is rewarded in equal measure to the treasure looted by your characters or the difficulty by which they overcame obstacles, and not for killing monsters or achieving story milestones. I don't script campaigns; I let my players define where things go. That said, I prefer for my players to interact with the fiction I present, rather than the game mechanics themselves; and I do not pull my punches with combat, but do try to adjudicate it in a way that is both fair and exciting for all involved. My sense of fun is derived from my players, and their experience is paramount to my enjoyment of the hobby.
