About Eric
Hi, everyone! My name is Eric (or Eri), I’m 31 years old and I’ve been running RPG campaigns for over 15 years. I’ve been running a long-running Pokémon campaign for over a year now with the same group, using my own Pokémon RPG system. I joined this platform to find new players, create epic adventures and provide memorable experiences.

My favorite books are
Menino de Engenho: An accessible read exploring social, political, and economic life in Brazil in 1900. The City of Ember: An adventure full of puzzles and mystery that shaped my DMing. A Dance With Dragons: Most people don't like it but it deeply reveals characters’ true selves.
People are always surprised when I tell them
I was in the circus and I can juggle, walk on stilts, and do aerial silk tricks.
When I'm not running games I'm...
reading, writing my own system, playing games, or localising games. I love games, books, and linguistics and I'm glad I have the opportunity to put all that into practice.
How Eric runs games
My campaigns are filled with exploration and my goal is to provide players with opportunities to thrive and write their characters' own story. I love surprising my players with events connected to their background and I love being surprised by my players' creative choices. I am very patient and I love helping players learn the system.

I prep by
writting an actual story behind events, connecting them with things that happened in the past and considering consequences for the future.
My games focus on...
allowing players to turn their dreams into reality after overcoming chalenges to deserve it.
Rules are...
important for the game to run smoothly but they do not have to be followed strictly all the time. I value creative ideas and interesting interactions that make sense with the scene.
Eric's ideal table
I build worlds filled with stories and possibilities, opening or closing doors according to players' actions. I work best with curious, ambitious, and open-minded players that want to live the story and leave their mark, not following the script but paving the way themselves.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
is true to their character's traits and personality. Also when they remember tiny details or notice links between something new and a previous session.
I think min/maxing...
is okay. I like characters that have skills and attributes true to who they are. If you character is a star in something and shite in all the rest, thas up to you but if you have for instance an eloquent character with no focus on intelligence or social skills, it will be a problem.
My perfect party mix is
a diverse group of players and characters that contribute to the story in all sorts of ways.
