About me

Hello hello! My name is Eldritch or Maeve. I am 23 years old and use they/they pronouns. I live in the nonexistent state of Ohio with my lovely wife and act as the local Cryptid. I have been a gamemaster for nearly 12 years now having started upon finding some old AD&D sourcebooks and running adventures for my friends. In the last decade, I have run or played in a variety of systems including D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Fate Core, Warhammer 40k, and more. During this time I was motivated by my then-fiance and best friend to begin writing and developing my own Setting in the hopes of spreading and publishing it. I collected all my notes, and now years later I have the World of Shattered Sun. I have run multiple games in this setting making use of the unique cosmology magic system, world map, and Pantheon to deliver an incredible experience. Recently, I have begun to transition to becoming a professional gamemaster to continue my passion as a fantasy writer!

GM Style

My style centers around treating my players as friends and developing a story around them. I always have an overarching campaign plot, but the specifics and story is built with the players in mind making use of their backstories. I strongly dislike rule lawyering and the destruction of creative thought. My goal is to support my players and drive their character stories into the plots of my world. My sessions swing from heavy RP to intense combat with downtime and crafting intermixed to bring balance. Lastly, I love to surprise my players with realistic npcs and a living world.
