About Erik

Hello adventurers! I began my D&D journey as a player in the last millennium (first die cast in 1996) and have been a fan of the game ever since. I quickly moved into GMing, and have been running games professionally since 2018 with my company Dungeons on the Go. I use a mix of Zoom, discord, D&DBeyond and Roll20 to run and host my games, which I began doing online during the panini. Since then I’ve logged nearly 6,000 hours of hosting and running games. At my table we use pronouns, employ safety tools, and practice tolerance and listening. As a DM I play for story over stats, but apply the rules fairly to PC and NPC alike (I’m a big fan of actions having consequences, even if it turns my BBEG into a dope). I like saying yes, I don’t have a problem saying no. Some of the table rules that I enjoy using are: Going Down Fighting: A player can choose to take an automatic failed Death Save to complete an action on their turn without moving. I Know a Guy: Help to create NPC’s by stating that you know someone who could help. A roll by the GM determines how they feel about you now. Health Potion bonus action option: Drink as a Bonus Action and you roll as normal, drink as an Action and you get the maximum. My favorite D&D Podcasts: Worlds Beyond Number, The Adventure Zone, Dungeons and Daddies You can find out more about me on socials @dungeonsonthego and at dungeonsonthego.com.

How Erik runs games

Roleplay supported by dice, where the world justifies the rolls. I love to help players craft their most incredible and heroic moments by challenging their characters.
