About me
Hey all! My name is Aislinn. I’m @dollar_store_dm on instagram and TikTok. I am the DM for the RollPlay INC podcast, a cast member on BlueBox RPG, and a creator of budget terrain and minis to help elevate the game. My games focus a lot on the collaborative storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love running interesting roleplay and inventive combat. I’m here to make sure we all have a fantastic time and tell epic stories together! I previously was a middle school teacher and ran the school’s dnd club so I welcome young players to my table. New players, seasoned players, young players and older players are all welcome at my table. GM Style
I love dynamic combat that shifts the usual “I hit the monster” rut and captivating roleplay. I tend towards rule of cool at my table. We are all here to tell an awesome story together. I’ll happily tweak flavor text to make your vision real because we are all here to have a great time. I ALSO Feature physical irl terrain and miniatures for many of my adventures.

Aislinn, Dollar Store DM has an amazing ability to narrate all parts of the story and choices made by players. She narrates combat in such a way that makes it feel more real and really makes you feel like you are there participating in it. An absolute pleasure to have her as a DM. Was a lot of fun participating in her game session with miniatures that accurately represented our characters.

Absolutely amazing DM, very fun and definitely allowed the "Rule of Cool" had an absolute blast playing at her table. Really love that she requires webcam, make the game feel like you're hanging out with friends and allows the player to play off of their reactions.

1000% recommend! Being at Aislinn's table was such a delight, she has such a warm and welcoming energy that it seemed like everyone felt at ease getting started. Her physical terrain is amazing and provides such a unique experience for an online game. She was an amazing facilitator and DM. We were playing a one-shot she wrote herself and it was an easy enough to follow concept while still being interesting and feeling unique. She also has great time management and kept the session flowing without it ever feeling rushed. I will absolutely be signing up for another game with her, hopefully sooner rather than later!

What a great session! Terrific storyteller; great with NPC improv; allows space for both light-hearted and heavy roleplay. I highly recommend hiring her as your GM and also giving her one-shot, Lich's Eye, a playthrough.
