About me

I'm Brent, a Vancouver concept artist specializing in infusing each prop, character, and element with unique components that build deep storytelling. Through years of dedicated research (aka watching a lot of anime and playing a lot of Dungeons & Dragons), I know that the tiniest detail can be crucial for your saga or character. I play DnD regularly both as a DM and as a player, and love to get into the details of storytelling and character design. When you work with me, you can expect deep integration of character backstories into the main arc or a design of your choice. Games I run are built for fun and creativity and don't need to follow every rule in the rule book (unless requested, of course). I prioritize including everyone's character and adding just the right amount of drama to keep it exciting.

GM Style

I started my DnD career consuming The Adventure Zone Dungeons and Daddies as well as Dimension 20 so I tend to run my games fast loose and with rule of cool in mind. At the end of the day we are all hear to have fun so games I run are built for fun and creativity and don't need to follow every rule in the rule book (unless requested, of course). I prioritize including everyone's character and adding just the right amount of drama to keep it exciting. I try o provide each character with a voice and to breathe a little extra life into them and make to ensure we have music to fit the mood. My last little addition is I off a custom character token in a cartoony style for each PC to make them truly grow attached to the character.
