About me

Greetings, Adventurers! I am Jason, aka DM Khallyx. I have been a DM since I started playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e in 2020. It all started when I just wanted to run a DnD game for my kids. It quickly expanded to include most of my friends, even running games for 3 groups per week, both online and offline. Eventhough I am relatively new to the game, handling multiple groups a week sped up my learning process and have acquired skills to run a fun and engaging games. My gaming philosophy has always been: "I am not satisfied if my players are not satisfied." Know that as a DM, I am your number one fan!

GM style

I like to have a balance between roleplay, combat and exploration every session. Though I mostly run published adventures, I love weaving character backstories into the plot for a more personal player experience. I encourage creative thinking and problem solving in my games. I try to make NPCs engaging and the monsters exciting. As for roleplay, you can do voices, speak in the 3rd person or do both; they're fine with me. I like to keep my games wholesome for everyone. And if you are new to D&D, I am willing to guide you through the process.
