About me
Hey, I'm Kahar and I've been DMing for 3 years for DnD. I have introduced my friends to the game that previously felt uncomfortable trying TTRPs and would like to offer that experience to new players. My table is a safe space for new players and veterans alike, with a focus on roleplaying, character development and a challenging but fair combat experience. My games are primarily set in the city of Waterdeep, I find the city of splendours to be such an immersive and fun environment to run and play and I hope I can share my interpretation of the wonders of Waterdeep with as many as possible.
GM Style
As a DM, I utilise ambient music, sound effects and artwork to try further your immersion in this amazing world. My primary concern as a DM is the enjoyment of my players, so I will always be happy to cater to the wants of the party. My style uses the DnD rulebook as a guideline more than a strict mantra, whilst the vast majority of the gameplay system will be based on the rules as written, some of them are not suitable, especially for new players. I'll always be willing to use the "Rule of Cool", basically allowing for things that might not quite fit in with the structure of the game but let you be imaginative and have fun.

Kahar is an absolutely fantastic GM! As a complete newbie, I was nervous going into my first DND game, but he immediately put me at ease. His ability to explain rules in a clear and understandable way was impressive, and he created a welcoming atmosphere that encouraged player input and creativity. Kahar's world-building is exceptional. His descriptions and visual aids truly immersed me in the game. I loved how he incorporated our group's silly ideas into the story, making us feel like we were an integral part of the world. Even as a simple fighter, I had a blast playing my character and felt fully invested in the campaign. Kahar's NPC interactions were top-notch. He made it easy for me to engage with the world, even when I wasn't sure what to say or do. I never felt like I was interrupting the flow of the game. I was unsure if DND was for me, but Kahar's enthusiasm has converted me. I can't wait to play another campaign with him and explore new characters. I wholeheartedly recommend Kahar!

Kahar was an amazing DM and perfect for two newcomers to D&D. My wife and I had never played before and he put together a fantastic one-shot to help ease us into the game. He also provided great support beforehand to help us get our characters setup. Would definitely do another session with Kahar.

As a newer player to DND Kahar was very accommodating both when it came to going through the roleplay, stats and the combat situations making it very easy for me to get into the game. Highly recommended!

Kahar is an amazing DM that takes the time to ensure that all players feel included and are enjoying themselves. As a DM kahar is highly proficient with Roll20 and used a wealth of supplementary material to make sessions engaging and immersive.
