I'm an old-school DM with an enduring love for D&D. Let's roll some dice and tell a story together!' I first played D&D in 1979. I can still picture those first sessions in my head - my buddy's huge kitchen table, those funny dice, books full of monsters and adventures. Oh. And the nacho cheese chips. :) His mom made good nachos. I've played sporadically ever since, whenever I could find friends who would join me. Over the last few years I've hosted several campaigns on-line. The virtual tabletops can be a little awkward at first, but once you get going the tools fade away and it feels like sitting at that old kitchen table again.

GM Style

My game style is casual and humorous with light roleplay. I like to emphasize fun, exploration, and creativity instead of melodrama and interpersonal conflict. I'm looking for people who want to work together, help the townsfolk, outsmart the goblins, and clear our some dungeons. I'm not interested in edgy, evil, or anti-social behaviors. We'll be playing with the D&D 5e rules, but I sometimes mix in rules or ideas from older editions: like the Skill Challenges from 4th edition. I like to follow the rules, but I also like the Rule of Cool. We're on an epic adventure and I don't mind bending the rules or going with the flow if we are all having fun.
