About Evan
Hey there! Will I be your soon-to-be favorite Game Master? Well… let’s find out together. I’ve been playing for years and GM-ing on and off for the last few, picking up the pieces that make a game flow well. Outside the table, I spend a ridiculous amount of my free time storyboarding, worldbuilding, and crafting new adventures. Sometimes it’s short stories, sometimes full campaigns, but it’s always an excuse to build something fresh.

My favorite books are
My favorite books swing wildly from The Red Book of Westmarch, to Anne Rice’s Vampire Lestat saga, to the punch-first-ask-later Jack Reacher chronicles.
When I'm not running games I'm...
When I’m not running games, I’m dreaming up new worlds, fixing whatever part of the house decided to break this week, tinkering with ADHD-born projects, or curled up with my family watching fantasy films or detective mysteries.
How Evan runs games
Right now, D&D 5e is my jam. When you play at my table, you can expect adventures that start on a solid foundation and then spiral into twisting, turning storylines full of magic, mystery, and moments to talk about after the session ends. I’m not big on the typical prebuilt modules, so don’t count on Forgotten Realms or Curse of Strahd to do the heavy lifting. I prefer to take you somewhere new — worlds that evolve as you play, choices that matter, and stakes that hit home. If you sit at my table, expect a flexible world, meaningful choices, and adventures tailored around the heroes driving the story.

Rules are...
Rules come in two forms: table rules and game rules. Table rules are non-negotiable—they keep the space safe, respectful, and fun. Game rules, however, are flexible. They guide the story, not restrict it, and I’ll never let a technicality ruin a great moment. Players always come first.
