About me

I have been DMing and playing DnD off and on for 30 years beginning in 2nd edition in my 20s and running through 5th edition now in my early 50s. I love to immerse myself into the game, role play, develop stories and run home brew adventures. I respect the rules but am not a rules lawyer. (I'm an advocate of the "rule of fun"). I encourage my players to develop as much as they can about their characters and their background. I try to run a very balanced game between action and roleplay. I love including in my games mystery, intrigue, detailed descriptions, use of horror and puzzles. What you can expect of me is fairness, respect, preparedness and patience. Let's have fun!

GM Style

I would say I'm about 60% RP 40% action/combat. I enjoy story based adventures and an immersive experience. Good use of different voices. Good with including character backgrounds into story when applicable. Loves to have fun putting together different creative one shot ideas but also loves epic campaigns and enjoys running both. Likes to collaborate with players who might have ideas about where their character is from or other things. Doesn't mind completely new players and enjoys teaching the game.
