About Dicewrought Tales
I started GMing the Age of Ashes adventure path for Pathfinder 2e. I ran the players through level 1 - 20 in around 4 years worth of time. But my love for the hobby grew as I delved into more indie games and the roots of the hobby. I enjoy simple systems and like the dice to determine outcomes of stories.

How Dicewrought Tales runs games
I like to GM in a style akin to Pirates of the Caribbean. I want my game to be entertaining. I want my game to be a sharable experience where everyone gets the spotlight. We may have themes of darkness, and deep story ties that can get wrapped in some humor to keep things light.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Gore Verbinsk. This is the director of the Pirates of the Carribean first three movies. These movies are pure entertainment. Inside the movie you have love, drama, deadly encounters, serious consequences, lore, worldbuilding and remain humorous to break the tension.
Rules are...
meant to be simple enough to be understood and repeatable. They are used to add consistency to our groups story telling. If I am running a game that has complex rules, I may try and simplify it where I can.
When it comes to voices
Do not expect professional voice acting. I am not the best at voices. I will probably show an image of the person I am trying to speak as, maybe lower my voice or raise my voice slightly and that is about it.
Dicewrought Tales's ideal table
I run off the principles of ICRPG. Every player gets a turn, and I try and keep the spotlight moving. New players, old players, it doesn't matter. I like to play in isometric style and have adopted DungeonCraft's UDT. I have an isometric UDT that I will keep the players on. I will add props and other NPCs to give a general idea of what they see. I try to keep the mood fun and light even if we are dealing with serious consequences.

I love it when a player
is engaged. When players are taking notes, asking follow up questions, and seem interested in the world.
My table is not the place for...
being too silly. I think there is a time and a place to have fun and be silly, and that is obviously involved. My games are fun, and the players have fun, but if we start going down the road of making silly characters that can do silly spells, then it is hard to bring any serious story to the game.
