About David Hulegaard

My name is Dave and I have been running games for over 47 years. All of my players have witnessed the level of dedication I bring to the table, and the time I take to prepare, and customize each experience for the individual players. I take the time to help each player develop their own story arcs, and customizations to make each character unique. I have also worked closely with other GM’s to develop our skills to help provide a fun and exciting experience for our players. I have a large collection of RPG’s totaling over 246 so far, not including digital titles, and these have given me a wide breadth of experience and techniques to pull from. How David Hulegaard runs games

I run an open-world style of play. I adapt the world to the players actions, and those actions have consequences in the world. This is the way I run all genre's of play. I like to have a fun and welcome anyone to my gaming table. I run sessions with 2-7 players currently, but I have ran up to 17 players at one weekend long session. I run a yearly 'Halloween Dungeon' event that runs 3 days straight and has been an annual event for over 30 years. I will be happy to run you in a one-shot, full campaign, or I can setup a full 2-day weekend game-a-thon. I am currently putting together a campaign for my favorite RPG, Earthdawn by FASA. However I am also focused on D&D 5e and Monte Cook's Cypher system. But I dont stop there!; I will run any genre or system that I own. And I have over 236+ in my collection! A guideline, a skeletal framework that supports the creations of the mind. I feel that they should help and not hinder the story that is woven by the players and the GM. They are useful to a point, but I feel can be...adjusted to fit the scene, not the other way around.
