About DeviousHearts
Game Master with 40+ Years of Experience Hi there! I’ve been running games for over 40 years, from Dungeons & Dragons to Mutants & Masterminds and plenty in between. My style focuses on telling a good story and making sure everyone at the table feels welcome, included, and like they’re part of something special. LGBTQ+ friendly. I aim to create immersive worlds, memorable characters, and sessions that flow naturally. Whether you're new to the game or a veteran, the goal is simple: have fun and create a challenging but collaborative narrative. If you come to one of my games, bring a good attitude and a sense of adventure. We’ll take care of the rest together.

When I'm not running games I'm...
Making new games or preparing others. I am also working in development of the official Mutants & Masterminds system on Foundry VTT. I am an admin on the Atomic Think Tank which is Green Ronin Publishing's official fan website. Green Ronin is the publisher of Mutants & Masterminds!

DeviousHearts's ideal table
My table is collaborative, character-focused, and built around the idea that everyone should get a chance to contribute to the story. I enjoy a good mix of roleplaying, investigation, action, humor, and dramatic moments, with the exact balance depending on the campaign. I tend to run games where player choices matter and where characters have connections to the setting, NPCs, and ongoing story. I like players who engage with the world, care about what the other characters are doing, and are willing to help build scenes rather than waiting for the GM to do all the work.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Players who fit best at my table are cooperative, respectful, dependable, and comfortable sharing the spotlight. You do not need to be an expert on the rules or an accomplished roleplayer. New players are welcome. What matters more is being willing to learn, communicate, and participate.
I love it when a player
I appreciate players who approach challenges with more than just, "What ability gives me the biggest bonus?" and who engage in creative problem-solving. Character flaws, complications, bad decisions, relationships, and occasional spectacular failures are all what makes a campaign memorable.
My table is not the place for...
I am not interested in adversarial GMing, player-versus-player drama without everyone's agreement, spotlight hogging, rules-lawyering for personal advantage, or behavior that makes another player uncomfortable. Everyone at the table is responsible for helping create an enjoyable game.
