About Carl Swan
I have been playing and running Dungeons and Dragons games off and on for 40 years. I have been using Roll20 and other online tools for more than two years and work very hard to provide an integrated experience my players. I especially try to ensure that each player feels fully integrated into the campaigns I run, incorporating their backstory, personal quests, and the ever evolving goals of the characters and their party into the overall campaign. My current passion is the Dungeons of Drakkenheim setting and I love bringing this campaign of eldritch horror and faction intrigue to life for and with my players.

How Carl Swan runs games
I am primarily a rules as intended/written game master. I do like for my players to feel empowered by the system, not hindered. I love to have a nice balance between social encounters, combat encounters, and general roleplay. I have fun when my players are having a great time.
