About Hampter
Welcome to my DM journey! I’ve been a Dungeon Master since the 2021, when I first discovered my love for tabletop role-playing games. What began as a guest appearance in a friends game, quickly evolved into running my own. I’ve been the forever DM for countless different campaigns ever since. I absolutely love when players surprise me and work together to create experiences we can all remember forever. I initially ran my games through roll 20 but after learning the complexity of foundry, and what was possible with it, I made the Switch. I also maintain an organized Discord server where players can access any campaign related information they need. My goal is to make sure you have a wonderful time playing Dungeons & Dragons. That together we can experience a memorable story. Even after 5 years I would by no means consider myself an Expert DM and I'm very much still learning every day, but I hope that won't stop you from giving me a chance and joining me on this ride.

How Hampter runs games
I'm here to help tell a story we create together, while rules are rules, we are all here to have fun. I stick to them best I can but I keep an open mind when it comes to rule of cool. I can't say I havent allowed rules to be bent here and there when it seems reasonable for the sake of fun. I run a mix of role-play heavy and combat heavy campaigns and one shots but I definitely prefer the role play aspect. That being said when it comes to combat it try my best to incorporate what players can do into my encounters to allow them to do the things they find fun while still remaining tactical.
