About Alberto "Copro" Saldías

I'm a D&D and TTRPG enthusiast with around 10 years of experience running tables, both long term campaigns and casual one shots. Being from Chile, a South American country, my first and main language is Spanish, but I'm fluent in English as well and more than willing to narrate on either language.

I became a GM because

our forever GM of that time wanted to play as his beloved Paladin

My favorite system of all Time is

Swords of the Serpentines, is like gumshoe meets PBTA meets D&D *chef kiss*

When I'm not running games I'm...

playing video games and watching anime

How Alberto "Copro" Saldías runs games

I mainly focus on player agency and setting the tone of the scenes based on player likes and dislikes, which I'm careful to gather on a session zero or previous interview. Even when playing modules, I never railroad players into "the plot", because I firmly believe players decisions are the real plot.

I once ran a session...

for 8 hours straight, that was some epic green skins invasion.

My games focus on...

player agency and gambling with the risk/reward mindset

Rules are...

one more tool that we use to achieve fun

Alberto "Copro" Saldías's ideal table

My ideal table is one where players get on time, participate with enthusiasm, and let their imagination and creativity go wild as they embrace the epic high fantasy tone that D&D can produce. I don't care much about players taking notes and doing funny voices, because some people don't enjoy doing either of those things. In fact, I really enjoy the game when people are having fun and feeling amazed by the stories we all tell together, in a relaxed and familiar tone and ambience.

I think it's a red flag when players...

I think metagaming...
