About me

What's up gang! I'm a tutor, gamer and part-time adventurer who tried his hand at mastering dungeons over half a decade ago. I came for the monsters, stayed for the friends, and have been DMing ever since. I enjoy writing custom adventures, creating rich characters and having my players erupt with the glory of victory! I am just looking to do tasks for my fellow TTRPG gang, whether that's running a DND game, writing you a vivid scene or character description, or doing a voiceover or narration. My inbox is always open, and I love just chatting with fellow DMs and players. Holla atcha boy!

GM Style

I'm a versatile DM, but I will say my specialties are story-based moral quandaries, backstory integration, rich and deep character development, and nail biting combat. I think it's because I like for my players to build an attachment to the world I've created, and then I want to throw challenges at them that force them to make real decisions! Difficult moral decisions and difficult combats are so much more fun if the stakes are high and you're attached to other PCs and NPCs alike.

Cody DM'd a game for myself and a group of mutual friends over Roll20 and we all had a great time. He was always well prepared, collaborated with players to fit their characters into the setting, introduced fun NPCs with great role play within a story simple enough where we could pick up every week without needing a big recap. Combat was usually engaging and well balanced, it didn't feel like he was pulling any punches and even used the map to his advantage on multiple occasions. One particularly heinous example was attacking our party with a group of giant birds who would attempt to knock us off a cliff and have us come up with creative solutions to stay on solid ground and rescue our teammates who'd start to fall. He was legitimately the best DM I've ever had and his game was usually the highlight of my week.

High difficulty campaign, but still very doable. Allows for character creativity, helped me craft out a unique build that fit a flavor I was going for. Has visuals, maps and more, has sounds, does voices that are both enjoyable and fitting. Also you can turn him into a bingo card.

I've run a number of campaigns with this gm and he spends a great deal of effort sculpting his worlds and their inhabitants, breathing life into every corner and reach with settings ripe for exploration. The maps are immaculate and accompanied by various music tracks ranging from ambience to rousing percussive beats and various maps all curated for the campaign. Very open and lenient gameplay wise and if you are a creative player he will let you roll for just about anything(e.g. talking your way out of a boss encounter, controlled pvp, roleplay tactics.). If you enjoy combat, this gm will provide ample opportunity to showcase your builds with gritty, yet balanced fights that are sure to keep you on edge. He is great with new players and experienced alike and I recommend anyone to have him run your campaigns.
