About Jeremy
I've been playing and GMing for about ~25 years on and off. I have been hosting a board game group for about 15 years as well. I'm also an avid video gamer so I do just about anything nerdy.

How Jeremy runs games
I like to cater to my players interests, but I lean toward balanced combat, puzzles, and scenarios where the players can solve things either with outside of combat ideas/actions or with outside of the box thinking inside of combat. I like to make good stories, but I'm not Matt Mercer doing voices, I know what I'm capable of. I don't particularly care for traps, but will include them if players love them. I think they slow down the gameplay and the only real counter play to traps isn't fun on either side of the table. I think every game should have some level of tension. I don't like when a GM isnt willing to kill players, because if a player isnt at risk of dying then nothing they do means anything, they'll always win and there are no stakes. I say this not as if I am trying to kill players, but if a player plays badly or does something that would result in someone dying and the rolls result in their death, they will die unless their team saves them. At the end of the day, if a player group doesnt want death, wants traps, wants me to do awful quality voices, I'm down to do it, but the things I listed are my strengths and what I think makes a good game when I am running it. There will be no disrespecting other players or making other players feel uncomfortable, that's a non-starter.
