I became a GM because
...I love to tell stories. I love to set up fun adventures in interesting worlds, and lots of surprising plot twists. Being able to see how those stories actually play out, with all the surprises that my players bring to the table, is one of the greatest joys in my life right now.

...when I was really young, actually. I didn't know what an RPG was, but I still loved to play pretend. My friends would each pick a character to "play," and I would describe the world, set up the conflict, and roleplay as all the "NPCs" reacting to what my friends wanted to do.

...absorbing stories in whatever form I can. I love to listen to audiobooks, play video games with interesting stories, and listen to Actual Plays. All of this in an effort to learn more about how to be a good storyteller, and to get more fuel for my creative fires.
How brokenimage321 runs games
I enjoy interesting mechanics, and frequently involve little bits of homebrew mechanics in my games. I enjoy adding a little bit of horror here and there to keep things interesting. I am not a huge fan of prolonged combat, and often come up with ways to solve problems other than a drop-down, drag-out fight. And I love creativity and roleplay: if you do well with either of those, you'll have a lot of fun at my table!
