About Luke
Hello! My name is Luke and I have been a dungeon master for about nine years now with experience in multiple platforms and games including: - Dungeons and Dragons 5e - Call of Cthulhu - Mutants and Masterminds - A Song of Ice and Fire RPG - Pathfinder 2e I originally begun playing when friends invited me to their game after school, with since then my passion for the game has carried me to meet many new people and travel to multiple in person events. Since as far as I can remember, I have always prioritized the stories players write for themselves just as much as the scenarios I place them inside of. With flexible and reasonable availability, I always am willing to add work from players to the games. My official attitude is that this is our collective campaign, with all of us to feel a part of it. With that all in mind, I am a roleplay focused dungeon master but do have combat and puzzles throughout my games oftentimes. For me, the most important thing for these kind of game has always been community; whether it be with old players returning or new players just beginning, I am always excited to see people assembling to roll some dice and make some memories!

How Luke runs games
My style of play has always been roleplay, although that does not mean I do not utilize different ways for combat as well. Picking up from systems like Pathfinder's Kingmaker or Pendragon's dynamic jousting systems, I love to include new ways for players to engage critically with the world they play in. Likewise I have held many games where low or high difficulty combat encounters has led to satisfying stories and events to experience with other party members. One particular point of notice that my players have seemed to appreciate is my ability to take the time to develop not just the wider encounters with larger scale events, but also the simple times resting around the campfire and exchanging moments with both other members at the table but also the npcs that are met along the way.
