About Jeff
I have been playing tabletop games for almost 30 years starting with AD&D and the days of THAC0 to now. I have played many TTRPGs and find myself very drawn to Daggerheart. I've begun running my 7 year old and some friends through the system and it is much easier to pick up and adjust for player experience, desires etc. I'm looking forward to the chance to test Daggerheart out in different genres as well as classic fantasy settings. I teach leadership skills, conflict management and emotional intelligence for people transitioning into leadership roles in the construction industry. Formerly an electrical foreperson I have enjoyed the transition and am very comfortable hosting groups and conversation on a variety of online remote style platforms. LGBTQ+ ally and will only host games that provide a safe space for every person and every body. Looking forward to telling some great stories together.

My favorite books are
The Hobbit was formative in my development as a person a then undiagnosed autistic 10 year old was not motivated to learn to read found themselves immersed in Tolkien's world. Jumping from. Grade 2 reading level to devouring the Lord of The Rings. Brandon Sanderson's Allomancy. Robert Jordan WoT
My favorite system of all Time is
The system outside of the various D&D systems played through the years that stands out most for me is the original 7th Sea. The exploding dice and scene rules at the table made for some of those most memorable cinematic moments I've ever played. I feel Daggerheart has the potential to to get there
When I'm not running games I'm...
Looking to create a space for collaborative storytelling. When everyone feels safe and encouraged to contribute to telling a story together. The dice and mechanics are there to keep us all guessing and add a level of creativity not possible if everything we wanted just happened.
How Jeff runs games
Collaborative storytelling style of daggerheart really speaks to me I seek to help build a setting and story for all players to contribute to and strive to create a safe and enjoyable space for every player to feel comfortable to contribute to the story in any way that works for them. The dice and rules are there to keep us guessing as to what may happen next and help build stories where our main character overcome challenges and develop relationships and bonds with eachother
Jeff's ideal table
A place for friends to relax and immerse themselves in collaborative storytelling. Whether you wanna roll some dice and smash things, cast spells of creation or destruction. Spend time discussing tactics, options and best laid plans for the dice or adversaries to thwart. It takes all kinds to tell a well rounded story the fantastical, whimsical or simple well timed one liner to be remembered for the ages there is always a seat at our table.
